IT Support Intern
About the Role
You will handle day-to-day IT support tasks across devices, software, user accounts, and office systems. This role is execution-focused and requires strong ownership in resolving issues quickly and keeping systems usable for the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for common IT issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and login-related problems
- Set up new user devices, email accounts, and access permissions
- Support user onboarding and offboarding for IT assets and accounts
- Track IT tickets, issue status, and resolution timelines
- Maintain records of devices, accessories, and software licenses
- Document common issues and create basic troubleshooting notes
Requirements
- Good understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software issues
- Basic knowledge of Windows, networking, and user account setup
- Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and work independently
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 admin basics
- Exposure to remote support tools and ticketing systems
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree pursuing/completed in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred but not mandatory
- Practical troubleshooting ability is more important than formal certifications
Compensation
- Stipend
- ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 per month
